KDE continues to fix bugs in Plasma 6.3 while continuing to implement changes for Plasma 6.4

KDE Plasma 6.3, bug fixes

Como We just commented, there are two popular desks that publish news during the weekend, and KDE is the second of them. This week They have published Plasma 6.3.1, the first point update in this series, has fixed the first bugs, and v6.3.2 will be coming soon with more fixes. The project is not stopping, and they are polishing things while also implementing improvements for the future.

In the notes that Nate Graham publishes, what predominates are the points that talk about error corrections, but we focus our articles on the most striking news. Among them we find some that are already available in Plasma 6.3.1, but that have been published a few hours ago. Without a doubt, they are corrections made over the weekend or on Monday, as long as there was time to upload the patches before releasing the stable version.

What's new in the KDE interface

  • Improved the display of the BBC Weather Service search results weather widget to reduce unhelpful visual clutter.
  • Removed the visual difference between how Night Light looks on Wayland compared to X11.
  • The Digital Clock widget's context menu is now less cluttered with stuff you probably won't use.

  • Some options on the General Behavior page of System Preferences have been reworded to make it clearer what they actually do.

  • Improved accessibility of the Widget Explorer sidebar.

The rest of the new features, as we mentioned, are bug fixes. In this section, A total of 129 bugs have been fixed, which isn't much considering a new version of Plasma has just been released.

Plasma 6.3.2 is expected to arrive next Tuesday, Plasma 6.4 on June 17, and Frameworks 6.12 on March 14.
