On the first day of this July, the project that loves the letter K so much gave us plasma 6.4.2. It's the third release in the 6.4 series, counting the zero-point release, and the second to fix bugs. While it could still be improved further, something it will do in the next four maintenance updates, the developers can now relax a bit and focus on other goals. That's what they've done: throughout this week KDE has begun to shape Plasma 6.5.
Although they've confirmed it, the new features already ready for Plasma 6.5 are few. In fact, only one of them is a "new feature," while the rest are UI improvements and other tweaks. Below is the list of the new features. list with news This week in KDE.
New Features Coming to KDE

The setting here will be used for Night Light and automatic wallpaper switching, and later for automatic theme or color scheme switching when these features are ready.
