Like the Kubuntu it's based on, in addition to Plasma 6.3, it also includes Qt 6.8.3, KDE Frameworks 6.12, and KDE Gear 24.12.3. The default session remains X11.
Updates from Ubuntu Studio 24.10 will be activated in the coming days. Those interested in upgrading from 24.04 should go to the update settings and select "any version," otherwise it will only search for LTS versions.
