Ubuntu Unity 25.04 shows all the symptoms of that the project is experiencing a slowdown, to put it mildly. Additionally, the release notes explain that they had to fix a bug that caused unbootable installations. This bug also affected Kubuntu and Lubuntu, as all three use the Calamares-based installer modified by the Lubuntu team.
