Today Friday, October 27, 2023, and for the fourth and last time this month, we participate in the joyful and fun online Linux celebration of Desktop Fridays, where we personalize and beautify our GNU / Linux desktops and we show them to the world. That is, today we will celebrate a new «DeskFriday – 27Oct23».

And as always, I will be showing off my creative screenshots using the latest version of the GNU/Linux MX Distro, that is, MX 23 Libretto. Which, in turn, is based on Debian 12 Bookworm. Additionally, we will be using a beautiful new wallpaper created by AI with the fabulous name of our website, ubunlog.

Non-free software brings with it an antisocial system that prohibits cooperation and community. You can't see the source code; You can't tell what ugly tricks, or what silly mistakes, it might contain. If you don't like it, you can't change it. And worst of all, it is prohibited to share it with anyone else. To prohibit the sharing of software is to sever the ties of society. Richard Stallman

There are two motivations for developing a free program. One is that there is no program that does the job. Unfortunately, accepting the use of a non-free program eliminates that motivation. The other is the desire to be free, which motivates people to write free replacements for non-free programs. In these cases, that reason is the only one that can do the job. Richard Stallman
