I am passionate about new technologies, a gamer and a Linux fan at heart, willing to help in any way I can. Since I discovered Ubuntu in 2009 (karmic koala), I fell in love with Linux and the open source philosophy. With Ubuntu I have learned a lot about how the operating system works, resource management, computer security, and customizing my desktop. Thanks to Ubuntu, I also discovered my passion for the world of software development, and I have been able to create applications and projects with different languages and tools. I like to share my knowledge and experiences with the Linux community, and I am always willing to learn new things and face new challenges.

Lover of practically any type of technology and user of all types of operating systems. Like many, I started with Windows, but I never quite liked it. The first time I used Ubuntu was in 2006 and since then I have always had at least one computer running Canonical's operating system. I remember fondly when I installed Ubuntu Netbook Edition on a 10.1 inch laptop and also enjoy Ubuntu MATE on my Raspberry Pi, where I also try other systems like Manjaro ARM. Currently, my main computer has Kubuntu installed, which, in my opinion, combines the best of KDE with the best of the Ubuntu base in the same operating system.

I was born in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in 1971. I taught myself computer science with the Commodore 64 and Linux with a failed Debian installation without having any idea what I was doing or a Windows installation disk. On Google I found Ubuntu and that's where our relationship began. I am a content creator on topics of technology, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and personal productivity. As a person with a visual disability, I am especially interested in how Linux and free software can help overcome limitations. In 2013 I wrote a book called "From Windows XP to Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander", I was a contributor to Linux+DVD magazine and edited my own blog called Planeta Diego.

Programming and software enthusiast. I started testing Ubuntu back in 2004 (Warty Warthog), installing it on a computer that I soldered and assembled on a wooden base. Since then and after trying different Gnu/Linux distributions (Fedora, Debian and Suse) during my time as a programming student, I stayed with Ubuntu for daily use, especially because of its simplicity. Feature that I always highlight when someone asks me what distribution to use to start in the Gnu/Linux world? Although this is just a personal opinion. I am passionate about learning new things and sharing my knowledge with others. I have written several articles about Linux, its applications, its advantages and its challenges. I like to experiment with different desktop environments, development tools and programming languages.

I am a historian and computer scientist, two disciplines that I am passionate about and that I try to combine in my work and my leisure. My current goal is to reconcile these two worlds from the moment in which I live, taking advantage of the advantages that technology offers to investigate and disseminate the past. I am in love with the GNU/Linux world, and in particular with Ubuntu, a distribution that offers me everything I need to develop my projects. I love trying the different distributions that are based on this great operating system, so I am open to any questions you want to ask me. I like to share my knowledge and experiences with other Linux users, and learn from them as well. I believe that free software is a way to democratize access to information and encourage collaboration and creativity.

I am a writer about Linux, the operating system that I have been passionate about since I discovered it more than a decade ago. I like to explore the different distributions and applications offered by free and open source software, always seeking the balance between functionality and aesthetics. My personal preference is KDE, the desktop environment that offers me a customizable and fluid user experience. However, I am neither a fanatic nor a purist, and I recognize the value of other options. I love sharing my knowledge and opinions about Linux with the readers of Ubunlog, the blog where I have been collaborating for several years.

I have been using this operating system for a long time, so much so that I use it in my daily life both to study and to have moments of leisure. I like to write about Linux, share my experiences, tips and tricks, and help others discover the advantages of this wonderful system.

I am a Computer Engineer, graduated from the University of Murcia, and I am dedicated to the development of software and web applications. My passion is Linux, the free and open source operating system that offers infinite possibilities for customization and optimization. I started in the world of Linux in 1997, when I installed my first distribution, Red Hat, on an old computer. Since then, I have tried many others, but I stick with Ubuntu, the most popular and friendly of all. I consider myself a total Ubuntu patient (with no desire to be cured), and I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with this operating system.
