GNOME published a few hours ago the news note that has occurred in its universe in the week from May 3 to 10. Although, as usual, there is a little bit of everything, I think there is nothing that really stands out, beyond new versions of applications that, I think, are not widely used. If I had to highlight something from the following list, perhaps the new Varia update.
As for the rest, work has also been done this week taking advantage of the STF donation, but the list in this section is shorter than on other occasions. You could say that this note is similar to the one from two weeks ago, with quality changes over quantity, tell Planify. What follows is the list with news.
This week in GNOME
- With the donation from Sovereign Tech Fund they have made progress in managing URLs for apps, a couple of improvements in oo7, notifications and the file selector, among others.

- Minor update for Letterpress:
- Images can now be pasted from the clipboard.
- Zoom is now more consistent between different factors.
- The Drag-and-Drop overlay was stolen from redesigned Loupe.
- The GNOME runtime was updated to version 46, which means that the Advice Dialog now uses the new Adw.Dialog, and the About Dialog is now really an About Dialog.
- The app has also been translated into simplified Chinese.
- Gir.Core 0.5.0:
