GRadio is, as you already know, a popular radio player in streaming with access to more than 4600 stations throughout the world. Its interface, very clear and simple, allows us to select by language, country and region, labels or the type of codec used. An application that should not be missing on the desks of our most audiophile readers.

The first Beta version of GTKRadio or, as it is better known, GRadio, whose improvements include, among other functionalities, the following:

  • Ability to minimize the application to the taskbar.
  • Ability to continue playing background music through a process in background,.
  • Infinite scroll of those sessions that we want.
  • Automatic installation of those codecs that are missing in our system.
  • New menu design with better content organization.
  • Notifications about the track that is playing.
  • Play and pause function when clicking on the name of a music station.
  • Now the application window can be resized and the last position of the same is saved for a better restoration between sessions.

degree-2

In addition to these improvements, the application logo has been renewed and reduced the required version of the GTK library to be able to be executed. Hereinafter, GTK 3.14 will suffice to be able to launch the program, whereas before version 3.18 was necessary.

Also they have been fixed various issues with some Danish radios where the application had a wrong behavior if a song search was performed.
