Canonical and the company BQ recently signed an agreement to launch the first hybrid tablet with dual interface support, both mobile and desktop. We talk about the BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition , a tablet that has only recently been available to reserve. However, if you are somewhat more demanding users and are looking for a more powerful team, the MJ company seems to have the answer to your demand.
Through a crowdfounding campaign, they offered the design of a 10-inch tablet equipped with Intel Atom Cherry processor and Ubuntu operating system. The campaign has suffered some other delay but is already active through the platform of Indiegogo, with expectations of being launched in August of this year. If their campaign is successful, for which they need to raise just over $ 200.000, we will have a new tablet among us with better features than BQ's.
MJ's new tablet will come in four different editions, with prices that will fluctuate between 230 and 500 dollars based on your benefits and contributions made on Indiegogo. Each model will have a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution IPS display, Intel Cherry processor and the ability to optionally and separately purchase a external keyboard. All computers will run the desktop version of Ubuntu without the need to externally connect a mouse or keyboard, as is the case on the BQ tablet.

All models are expected to arrive with the new Ubuntu 16.04 and include Intel processors with chips that support 64-bit instructions. This would also open up support for other operating systems such as Windows and other editions of Ubuntu.
