ScaleDB joins the Charm Partner Program

ScaleDB

This week Canonical was pleased to announce that ScaleDB has joined your Charm Partner Program (CPP). Canonical's CPP helps solution creators make better use of Canonical's universal application modeling tool, Juju, enabling instant workload development, integration and scaling with the click of a mouse. The Juju Charm Store has more than 250 cloud-based applications ready for use on most public and private clouds, as well as metal servers.

ScaleDB provides a pluggable storage engine for MariaDB / MySQL It enables it to handle large volume and high speed real-time time-series data transmission. ScaleDB also includes clustering integrated, allowing scaling without fading. On the other hand, it is also used in markets like IOT (Internet of Things or Internet of Things in Spanish), a market that seems to have a bright future, games, security and networks.

ScaleDB joins Canonical's CPP

“ScaleDB is a great addition to Canonical's Charm Partner Program and we are delighted that it is a part of it. The Canonical / Juju marketplace exposes ScaleDB to a new group of developers and DBAs that can now handle millions of inserts per second, with simultaneous ad-hoc queries. " Tom Arthur, CEO of ScaleDB.

On the other hand, Stefan Johannson, Canonical's Global Director of Software Alliances, said that

This enables a completely new class of high-speed time-series applications. The ability to handle this level of data flow in a SQL database in the cloud is truly amazing. Having this capability in our Charm ecosystem will allow Juju users to create a whole new class of time-series applications.

What do you think of this new arrival at Charm Partner Program Canonical?
