Photoshop is a graphics editor rasterized mainly used for retouching photos and graphics, the application is quite popular and in demand. In our case, we cannot install this application on our system since it was not designed for Linux.
Alternative programs to Photoshop
Even though I can tell you that there are alternatives for it in Linux and quite good, do not despair if they are looking for the best option, the only thing they must take into account what is the need they really have and from there know how to choose which option is the best, from this point forget about finding something equal to Photoshop because it does not exist, although as I tell you these are the alternatives to it.
Chalk
Kirta is based on the KDE platform libraries and included in Calligra Suite, without a doubt is one of the best open source image editorsBesides, for people who have been migrating from Photoshop, it has a fairly familiar interface to Photoshop.

This application allows us to manipulate vectors, this is an application open source, you can create and edit complex diagrams, lines, graphs, logos, and illustrations, it is certainly an excellent alternative to PhotoshopAlthough its strength is the handling of vector images, it is still an excellent option.

Gimp

It is a digital image manipulation application in bitmap form, both drawings and photographs. It is a free and free program, from my point of view is one of the main alternatives to Photoshop of open source that exist, besides that it is not limited to the scope of Linux, but we also have support for Windows as well.

vectr
Es a completely free and cross-platform vector image editor, this application was born before the problem of being able to have a manipulator of vector images, as well as their editing, on a low-resource computer. This seemed quite complicated, Vectr was born before it.

mypaint
It is one of the simplest tools that I list here, but it is still an option as it is an alternative, this program has the basic options for editing images,

This is not a native application made for some system, but It is an online tool with which we can manipulate images from the browser, in this part it is an excellent option that avoids us having to install an application on our system, although the only disadvantage is that it is necessary to have an Internet connection to be able to use it.

Although there are some other tools, it is a fact that Photoshop has evolved over the years and has added new features, one of them is the handling of animations through sequences (Frames), which in some of these applications on the list does not count with that.
That is why I have avoided adding programs that focus on specific functions to this list.
