How to test VLC 4.0 currently on Linux via PPA repositories?

On previous occasions, we have explained how to install stable versions by VLC from their Official PPA repositories for Ubuntu/Debian Distributions and their derivatives. For this reason, what changes today is not the procedure, but the repository, which we will go from using the daily Stable (stable-daily) to the daily Master (master-daily).

In consecuense, this is the procedure to follow, once (preferably) we have purged (completely deleted) our previous version of VLC:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/master-daily
sudo apt update
sudo apt install vlc

Please note that if you install Daily Master PPA repository on an Ubuntu/Debian Distro or derivative, the installation of the correct key for PPA Repository, you can manually install it, using the following command:

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80/ --recv-key 09589874801DF724

And that if necessary, if the (version) proper branch (correct or compatible) for our GNU / Linux Distro, you can edit the repository source file with the following command command:

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/videolan-ubuntu-master-daily-versiondistro.list

Solved said 2 small obstacles, if it happens, very surely many will be able to install and test "VLC 4.0" without major difficulties.

While, in case you want to try it in other ways on GNU/Linux and Windows, the following 2 official links are available: The cnightly builds and web repositories.
