Xubuntu 25.10 It's now officially available. They hadn't published release notes before, so we had to wait to find out what was new. And it's not much, or maybe it is, depending on how you look at it. Xubuntu uses Xfce, but also components from other desktops like GNOME and MATE. All to offer a balanced experience between fluidity and features.
When I said that there isn't much new, I meant it because it has remained at Xfce 4.20. When I said that it depends on how you look at it, it's because it's the same number, but in six months, many patches have been released that improve the stability of the software. What follows is the list with the most outstanding news of this version.

It hasn't come without minor issues, such as some libadwaita app icons having visual glitches or some flatpak packages failing to install due to a conflict between AppArmor and ibfuse, for which a patch is already on the way.
The release of Xubuntu 25.10 is now official, and can be downloaded from the button below. Updates from the operating system itself will also be activated soon. Remember that to upgrade from an LTS version, you must activate the option to upgrade to provisional versions, i.e., non-LTS versions.
